  You ask them not to disturb you, they handwrite you letters, you call and they dont answer the phone. What is really going on?

  For the 1 star anonymous user... In years past, some congregations public phone #'s were actually a members personal home phone. Now, many numbers are tied to a business land line. Since we usually don't have an on site permanent caretaker, we're at the mercy of the answering machine. Sometimes we accidentally forget to check the messages, with all the activity we're involved in. Please give us another chance. Thanks
